A small akari lantern glowing warm on three thin legs. Look closer and the top ring is torn, then drawn shut again with a line of stitches that aren't trying to hide. The wire frame underneath, clearly improvised, bent to cradle the paper and stand the light at its center. Kept alive, with the scars to prove it.
